Ugly Hope

DESCRIPTION. Ugly Hope is an ULTRAHARDCORE deceptively simple survival horror that only a few of you can get through. TRY TO SURVIVE!

CONTROL. The game is controlled mainly by moving the computer mouse cursor between the four game areas. Sometimes it will be necessary to press buttons on the screen. Sometimes it will be possible to press some keys ([Esc], [Space]).

PLOT. “My name is Francis. I woke up in an abandoned high-rise building late at night, but I could not find a way out of here, because all exits are walled up. In one of the rooms, I found an old working flashlight. Recently I started to hear strange noises from the distant corridors on the floor. This is not a human... ".

1. The more you look at the central wall, the less chance that the creature will draw a line on the wall, and if there are 3 lines on the wall, then you won't be long... In this case, the creature may appear on the right or left when you are not looking there...

2. A creature is afraid of light, so when you shine on it, it runs away, but sooner or later it returns... If you do not check the left doorway and the right one, the creature will sooner or later get to you. However, shining left and right too often increases the chance that the creature will draw a line on the center wall.

3. The creature has 3 stages of appearance on the right and on the left (I repeat that the creature can appear in doorways only when you do not shine through the doorways): during the first, the paw of the creature appears, which holds onto the doorframe; during the second stage, along with the paw, a part of the creature's muzzle appears, which looks out of the opening; during the third stage, the creature half crawls out of the doorway and pulls its terrible paw towards Francis. If you have not shone for a long time in one of the doorways, where the creature is already in the third stage, then you have a little time to scare off the creature with light. At the same time, you cannot know for sure whether the creature appeared, in which of the doorways it appeared and at what stage. The stages themselves replace each other over time, if the creature has already begun to crawl out of the darkness and the larger the stage, the less time is required for the next stage.

4. It makes sense to shine on the ceiling in the second half of the game after a certain "signal", when ANOTHER CREATURE begins to appear there, which is not afraid of light, but is afraid of UV.

5. When the creature appears somewhere, you should not rush, but it is better to shine a light on it and wait for the creature to run away and the flashlight will turn on again.

6. Sometimes the flashlight can be buggy and at such moments a button will appear from below, by pressing which you turn off the flashlight and you can wait until the creature disappears. I advise you not to shine anywhere and just turn off the flashlight as quickly as possible. You will be more alive...
